Thatcham, UK – John Lawson’s Circus brought four days of spectacular family entertainment to Thatcham, delighting audiences with a vibrant production that celebrated the very best of traditional circus alongside contemporary performances.
Founded in 1974 by the iconic ringmaster ‘Captain’ John Lawson, the circus began life as John Lawson’s Circus De Reszke and has since grown into a cherished national favourite. Renowned for its warm atmosphere and traditional circus spirit, the show has continued to evolve while remaining true to its rich heritage.
This year’s production featured one of the circus’s strongest line-ups of artistes to date, performing alongside the much-loved family “house” acts. Combining classic circus skills with modern showmanship, the fast-paced, laughter-filled performances entertained audiences of all ages throughout the four-day engagement.
Visitors also enjoyed a number of recent investments designed to enhance their experience, including new toilet facilities, luxury bucket seating, and upgraded Big Top heating and lighting. These improvements helped provide a comfortable and welcoming environment for families attending the event.
John Lawson’s Circus would like to thank everyone who came along to support the show in Thatcham and looks forward to returning with more unforgettable family entertainment in the future.
