About us
Thatcham Memorial Foundation is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation (CIO) that serves the people of Thatcham and surrounding areas from on its own 7.5-acre site in central Thatcham.
Engaging the community
The charity directly operates Thatcham Memorial Hall and the Memorial Playing Fields as hireable amenity space.
Clubs and events
The Foundation has been on the same site for over 70 years and aims to provide facilities including a village hall and playing fields for recreations, organised sport and leisure time activities.
Our Facilities
We have a range of facilities on offer suitable for community and business use alike.
The Hall
The Buller Turner Hall, measuring 11m x 14.5m, is not only spacious but can be configured to allow holding many different types of activities.
The Grounds
It is not only internal areas we have, there are external, green areas which are often used for fairs and car boot events.
