2nd Thatcham Scout Group
2nd Thatcham Scout Group, formed in 1954, is made up of a number of sections including Beaver Colonies, Cub Packs, Scout Troop, Brownies and Guides. The groups meet at the Scout Hut, which was purpose built in 1978 on site at the Memorial Playing Field.

Thatcham Bowling Club
Formed in 1950 with Jack Gooding as chairman the club has gone from strength to strength. A a purpose built building was erected in 1970. The club offer a programme of bowling that includes Kennet League, LX League, Ridgeway League and mixed games. All ages and abilities are welcome.

Thatcham Community Tennis
Thatcham Community Tennis aim to make tennis easily accessible with a professional organisation and engaging activities for the local community. Their focus is to promote tennis throughout the year for all age groups, both adults and children, through social play, internal competition, matches, and professional coaching to any player who wants to improve their game.
